You are Blessed

Have you started running your race this new year?

Perhaps, like me, you have had an unforeseen circumstance that has slowed you down. I have been recovering from a trapped nerve in my neck, so I have had to readjust my plans this year.

Maybe you are unsure about which lane you are called to run in or feel overwhelmed by the race itself. Do you feel qualified to run at all?

We can put so much pressure on ourselves, especially at this time of the year when everyone around us seems to be rushing forward with enthusiasm for reaching their goals.

If you, like me, have not yet taken your position at the starting line, I would love to encourage you to take a breath. You have a unique opportunity to step out of self-effort and into the power of divine rest.

“For with God nothing is ever impossible and no word from God shall be without power or impossible of fulfillment.”
Luke 1:37 AMPC

The power of seeing God do the impossible is contained within His word. It is not about how hard or fast you are going. It is not about what you do at all! It is about what He has done for you, and what He wants to do THROUGH you as you simply RECEIVE His word.

“So get rid of all uncleanness and all that remains of wickedness, and with a humble spirit receive the word [of God] which is implanted [actually rooted in your heart], which is able to save your souls.”

James 1:21-22 AMP

So I would love to leave you with these blessings from Deuteronomy 28:1-14 MSG, and Psalm 103:1-5 AMPC. Quiet your heart from all the noise and pressure the outside world is trying to put on your shoulders. Let these words sink deep into your heart and produce the results they were created for.

Let God’s word implanted in you, do the work for you, and see Him do the impossible through you!
